Sandra L. (Pearson) Carroll, 60, of Boswell, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 5:20 a.m. at her residence. Sandra was born on June 8, 1955 in Lafayette to the late Howard and Lee I. (Britt) Christmas. Sandra was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1973. She married the love of her life, Larry G. Carroll on April 14, 1992 in Greenville, KY, and he survives. She co-owned River City Taxi and Luxury Limo. Also for Jims Garage as a dispatcher from 2007-2011. Sandra enjoyed camping, fishing, race and stock cars, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are six children, James M. (Dorothy) Rider of Otterbein, Jesseca M. (Melody) Rider of Lafayette, Jamie L. Arnold of West Lafayette, Stephanie A. Carrillo of West Lafayette, Coralee R. (Melissa) Arnold of Boswell, and Lisa M. Taylor of Boswell.
Also surviving, are three sisters, Georgia Alexander of Lafayette, Sheila (Bill) Zborek of Battle Ground, and Sherry (Andy) Clevenger of Wisconsin, 19 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her adopted parents, James and Lena Shields.
Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one half hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Pastor James Chase officiating. Simplicity Funeral Care entrusted with care.
