Margaret Gallupe Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle 79. Died 4-24-1980 at a Presque Isle nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield 8-12-1900 the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Day) Dorsey. She was the widow of Asa Gallupe. She was a communicant of St. Denis Catholic Church of Fort Fairfield and St. Marys Cathoic Church of Presque Isle. She established the Gallupe Trailer Park in Fort Fairfield. For the past several yrs. she had been residing with her daughter in Presque Isle. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas of Clearwater, FLA., and Gary of Damascus, MD., 3 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Bishop of Presque Isle, Mrs. Donald (Mona) Watson of Fort Fairfield and Mrs. William (Carol) Aldrich of Pacific Grove, CAL., 2 sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Pauline) Doughty of Ocala, FLA., and Mrs. Albert (Madelyn) Buhl of Staten Island, NY., 11 grandchildren. 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Burial Riverside cemetery.
