William Gibbons, an old citizen and ex-Confederate, died Tuesday morning at his residence, of a complication of diseases. "Uncle Bill," as he was familiarly called was highly esteemed and leaves a wife and two children to mourn their loss besides numerous friends and acquaintances who regret his decease. The funeral took place Wednesday.
