Jeff was born August 19, 1982 in Geneseo, IL, the son of Dennis and Joan (Cobb) Wells. He graduated in 2000 from Aledo High School. He then joined the Illinois National Guard. He became active duty in the US Army in 2003 and served as a mentor to his soldiers. He did 3 tours to Iraq and was discharged in 2011 after 11 years of service with the rank of Sergeant. Following his service he became a college student at Harry S. Truman College and received his Associates Degree in Arts and Graphic Design in 2015. Jeff loved golfing, boating, and chilling on the beach. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Chicago teams as well as the Anaheim Ducks. He also loved country music.
Jeff is survived by his parents Dennis and Joan Wells, Aledo; brother, Michael (Ana) Wells, Galesburg; nephew, Tony Wells; maternal grandparents, Artie and Maxine Cobb, Colona; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Also surviving is the Love of his life: Ashley Tyler, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Warren and Lucille Wells.
