Hannah Foot (q.v. Foote), as her parental family and sibling surname is recorded at Colchester, Conn., b. there of record Apr. 17, 1720, the second dau. of Capt. Nathaniel Foot the 4th (Qtrmaster Nathaniel,3 Nathaniel,2-1 Foote) and his first wife Ann Clark. Hannah d. July 12, 1817 at Williamstown, Vermont. It is assumed she is interred at West Hill cemetery without an extant gravestone and where her husband Samson Howe, and the family of son Perley Howe, are interred with extant gravestones.

On Apr. 5, 1753 of record at Middletown, Conn., Hannah m. as his 2nd wife, Samson Howe, son of Capt. Samson Howe and Alice Perley, b. Dec. 13, 1716 at present-day Thompson, Conn., but recorded in the vital records of Killingly, Conn. He d. Mar. 26, 1797 at Williamstown, Vermont, Æt. 81 (g.s.) They had three known children born of record at Middletown, Conn. and baptized there at the Portland Cong. Church:

• i. Hannah Howe, b. Feb. 3 (bp. 17), 1754, d. May 10, 1803 at Williamstown, VT Æ 50 (g.s.); m. Dec. 28, 1790 of record at Williamstown, Mass. as his 2nd wife, Daniel Worthington, who d. Feb. 11, 1830 at Williamstown, VT Æ 97 (g.s.) No children are known of this marriage.

• ii. Perley Howe, b. June 16 (bp. 22), 1755, d. Nov. 7, 1839 at Williamstown, VT "aged" 84 (g.s.); m. before 1784, Sarah, whose maiden name is believed Dunning, who d. Aug. 23, 1840 at Williamstown, VT "aged" 82 (g.s.) Nine children of the family, the first three b. of record at Williamstown, Mass., the rest at Williamstown, VT.

• iii. Damaris Howe, b. July 7 (bp. 18), 1757; as no subsequent record for her exists she is likely the child of Samson Howe who d. in 1761 at Middletown per the Portland Cong. Church Record.
