Ernest Warren Neff, 73, of Landisburg died on Friday, July 29, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. He was born October 5, 1937 in Landisburg. He was the son of the late Warren and Hazel Kennedy Neff. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Lee Neff in 2002 and a sister, Patricia Britcher.
Ernie retired from the Loysville Youth Development Center. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing with his two sons.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara L Neff of Landisburg; a son, Charles Ernest Neff and his wife Lori of Bloomsburg; two daughters, Cindy Lee Meck and her husband Scott of Harrisburg; Michelle Lee Wilson of Carlisle; seven grand-children, Kelsey, Kali and Trinity Neff of Bloomsburg; Alex Meck of Pittsburgh; Jonathan Meck of Harrisburg; Brittany Woodby of Bristol, Virginia; Hannah Wilson of Carlisle; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Woodby of Bristol, Virginia; a sister, Shirley Neff of Landisburg; a brother, Ronald Neff and his wife Martha of Landisburg.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
