Ernie retired from the Loysville Youth Development Center. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing with his two sons.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara L Neff of Landisburg; a son, Charles Ernest Neff and his wife Lori of Bloomsburg; two daughters, Cindy Lee Meck and her husband Scott of Harrisburg; Michelle Lee Wilson of Carlisle; seven grand-children, Kelsey, Kali and Trinity Neff of Bloomsburg; Alex Meck of Pittsburgh; Jonathan Meck of Harrisburg; Brittany Woodby of Bristol, Virginia; Hannah Wilson of Carlisle; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Woodby of Bristol, Virginia; a sister, Shirley Neff of Landisburg; a brother, Ronald Neff and his wife Martha of Landisburg.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
