Ottumwa - Former Ottumwan, Matthew Todd Bowman, 34, of Hayward, Calif., died March 31, 1993, near Livermore Calif., as a result of a plane crash.
He was born Nov. 7, 1958 in St. Louis, Mo. to Thomas L. and Dixie Orona Bowman.
He grew up in Floris and attended Davis County High School and Indian Hills Community College.
He is survived by his three daughters, Frankie Lee , Dixie Jean, and Rachel Joy Bowman all of Choctaw, Ark.; two sons, Paul Lukus and Matthew Timothy both of Choctaw; a grandmother, Dixie Orona of Ottumwa; a fiance, Laura Goodwin of Oakland, Calif.; a half-brother, Richard Rogers of Germany.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Todd, in December 1992; his mother, Dixie Jean Rogers; and his father.
The services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Larry Ulrich officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to his children.
