Obituary From Ottumwa Courier, May 26, 1967:

Mrs. Adaline L. Bright, 68, of Ottumwa Route 6, died at 1:45 a.m. today at Ottumwa Hospital following a two week illness.

The daughter of Charles and Gertie Cruikshank Warrington, she was born in Davis County on Feb. 5, 1899, and had been a resident of Ottumwa most of her life.

She was a member of the Finley Avenue Baptist Church, Myrah Rebekah Lodge No. 41, Order of Eastern Star No. 112, White Shrine and the Jolly Neighbors Club.

She was married in Ottumwa in November of 1949, to Don A. Bright, who survives. She also leaves one son, C. Arthur Abbington of Junction City, Kan.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Turpin of Brookhaven, Miss.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Vout of Ft. Hood, Tex.; one stepson, Jerald Bright of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Ball, of New Longdon. Mrs. Georgia Cruikshank of Ottumwa is an aunt.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
