Jacob James Martin, age 8 of St. Joe, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in St. Joe.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jr. & Ella Rose, grandfather, Rodney Ford; great-grandfather, James A. Doss; and his cousins, Christopher McCoy and Caleb McCoy.

Jacob was a member of the Mt. Springs Full Gospel Church. He enjoyed playing with his brothers, riding his bike and playing video games. He also enjoyed singing at church.

He is survived by his parents, Tim and Cheryl (Ford) Martin of St. Joe; his brothers, Brian Timothy Martin and Nathan Wayne Martin; his aunts, Becky Gonzales (Jason) of Harrison, Teresa Wienert (Gary) of Harrison, Joyce Cowan (Alvin) of St. Joe, Vickie Hamblin (Oather) of Alma, AR, Lisa McCoy (Larry) of Compton, AR, Becky Gitchel (Jerry) of Compton, AR, and Rachael Ford of Compton, AR; his uncles, Bud Ford (Vikki) of Berryville, AR, Peter Ford (Rachel) of Compton, Jessie Ford of Compton, and Heath Ford of Compton.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mt. Springs Full Gospel Church in Compton, AR with Pastor Justin Villines and Brother Arlis Burks officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Erin Willis, Lee Ann Turney, Classmates of St. Joe School, Donald and Carol Wyatt, Jacobs cousins and members of Mt. Springs Full Gospel Church.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Jacob Martin Fund at Bank of the Ozarks.
