She was born November 20, 1934 in rural Odell, the daughter of Tom and Hazel (Puffer) Doughan. She married Richard Nagler.
Survivors include two sons: Greg Nagler of Lisle and Joseph Nagler of Tempe, Arizona; one brother: John Doughan of Pontiac; and three sisters: Rita Bolen of Pontiac, Therese Wilson of Fremont, California, and Lorraine Fouts of Lone Rock, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Mary Ellen Blue.
She was educated in Odell schools and Rockford School of Nursing in Rockford. She was a registered nurse for more than 40 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Assumption Parish in Oak Brook.
