MUNCIE - Thomas Elmer "Fudd" Ashley, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Muncie, IN. He graduated from Muncie Central High School and Ball State University. He was an Air Force veteran and a retired Delaware County probation officer. He was the owner of the Black Bag, the Grass Roots Football League. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Thomas Ashley of Middletown and Troy Andre' Butler of Muncie; two daughters, Michelle Harvey Hill of Muncie and Raushanah Jackson (husband, William) of Carlsbad, CA; one brother, Richard Johnson of Muncie; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Versia Ashley and his father, Thomas A. Ashley and one son, Joseph Franklin.Services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Services are entrusted to Faulkner Mortuary.
