Jan David Thomas II, age 51 of Hoover, AL went to his Heavenly Home on July 29, 2014. He graduated from W.A. Berry High School in 1982 and worked as a Food Service Representative. David loved music, the internet, Alabama Football, and his family whom he held dear. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. David is preceded in death by his father, Jan D. Thomas. He was the beloved son of Beverly Thomas. David leaves behind one sister, Lisa Randall, nephews Trenton and Alex Randall, and a host of relatives and friends. Though our hearts are broken, we will take comfort knowing that God has David in His Loving Arms. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Elmwood Chapel. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Chapel. Rachel Gonia, Pastor of Hoover First United Methodist Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to The American Heart Association .
