Mr. Emery was born in Scriba to the late Charles and Ellen M.( Dwyer) Emery. He was a driver with Railway Express Company for many years. The WW1 veteran enlisted in the United States Army on May 24, 1918 and was discharged December 15,1918. Mr. Emery served as a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Edgar(Nellie) Dunsmoor of Hannibal and Mrs. Elsie Flack and Mrs. Agnes Thomas of Sterling.
Services will be held at the Dain Funeral Home on Thursday. Calling Hours are from 7-9 Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Oswego.
