The body of Mrs. Charity Harvey was brought to the Sheppard Funeral Home from Newberry, Pa and the funeral was held from that place Tuesday at 1:30 pm. The Rev Samuel W. Eaton, pastor of the local Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was made in Highland cemetery here.
Mrs. Harvey died at her home Saturday, February 8, 1936. She was born in the town of Avoca, on Nov. 14, 1849, a daughter of Johnathan and Sally (Calkins) Oxx.
In early life she was married to Richard W. Harvey and for more than 30 years had resided in Pennsylvania.
The survivors are a son Frank and a daughter Arvilla at Newberry, Pa; two brothers, Monroe Oxx of Avoca and Warren Oxx of Hornell, NY.
