Anna Stephenson Adkins, 61 years of age, of Eubank, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, August 9th, 2015.
Anna was born in Monticello, Kentucky on November 12th, 1953, daughter of the late Ulyssus Wilborn and Vela Mae Smith Stephenson. She was a nurse for 35 years at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Anna was survived by one son, Keifer Adkins of Eubank, Kentucky; one sister, Melinda Stephenson of Monticello, Kentucky; her former husband, Richard Adkins; her companion, James Elam; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulyssus Wilborn Stephenson, who departed this life on March 13th, 1999 and Vela Mae Stephenson, who departed this life on October 25th, 2012.
Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17th, 2015 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17th, 2015 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Orell Denney officiating.
