Sherry May Allen, 80, of Buna, Texas passed away Wednesday on August 12, 2015.

Sherry was born January 26, 1935, in Hackberry, Louisiana to Edith and Octar Viator.

She lived in many areas around the world before returning to her hometown of Sulphur, Louisiana.

Survivors include seven children, son Jim Allen of Centralia, MO, son Karl Allen of Abita Springs, LA, son Albert Allen of Sulphur, LA, son Edward Allen of Sulphur, LA, daughter Patricia West of Buna, TX, son Richard Allen of Sulphur, LA, and son Chuck Allen of Sulphur, LA; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Sherry has two sisters, Lois Batchelor and Jean Viator; and two brothers, "Bud" Viator and Terry Viator.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Allen.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 17, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Visitati
