Shawn David Sellers, 43, of Hanover, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at his residence.
He was born May 27, 1972, in Orlando, Fla., to James and Linda Romans Sellers. He was raised in Madison and was a 1989 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He earned a degree in business management from Indiana University and a degree in computer programming from Virginia Tech. He worked at Ameriform in Carrollton, Ky., as personnel manager at Saks Fifth Avenue in Woodbridge, Va., and programming computers at Chrysler in Bethesda, Md.. He also started his own business, Better Than Good Renovations, in Madison. He enjoyed playing golf and basketball, and fishing. He also enjoyed singing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Charmaine Sellers, whom he married March 22, 2003; four children; his mother of Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Tim Craig of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Sellers of Madison and Brad Osborn of Alabama; one sister, Brandy Curry of Vevay; his grandfather, James A. Sellers of Long Beach, Calif.; one uncle; one aunt; and several cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandmother, Laura Sellers.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Milton United Methodist Church in Milton, Ky. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church Sunday from 2 p.m. until the service.
