Tabitha was the daughter of Richard Ely and Mary Pearson Ely. She married to Jedediah Peck, her first cousin, on 5 November 1772. He was a farmer and they first made their home at Lyme, Connecticut. About 1790, they relocated permanently to Burlington, New York. Their children were:
