Imogene Long, 90, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 12:55 am Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis. She retired from Lee's Grocery in Rockville with many years of service.
She was born April 12, 1930, in Clinton, Indiana to the late Roscoe Wright and Mary Cannon Wright. Her husband of 45 years George L. Long, whom she married on December 25, 1950, preceded her in death on April 11, 1996.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Hanner of Noblesville; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Long of Rockville; two sisters, LaDonna Riggen of Bloomington and Phyllis Barnes of Bloomington; one sister-in-law, Jill Wright of Clinton; four grandchildren, Melissa (Jon) Kirk, Amber (Jake) Cripe, Scott (Melinda) Long and Micheal Long; seven great-grandchildren, Lillie Cripe, Logan Cripe, Jackson Kirk, Macy Kirk, Anthony Graves, Randi Long and Andrew Long. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Long on January 4, 2004, also a brother, Carl Wright.
She attended Clinton High School and Rockville First Church of the Nazarene.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville.
