Ms. Earnestine Mitchell, age 84, of Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home.
Memorial services with Rev. Al Andrews officiating will be held at Wilkesboro Baptist Church at a later date. Burial will be in Union Methodist Church cemetery.
Ms. Mitchell was born October 25, 1930 in Wilkes County to Edgar Spainhour and Mary Elizabeth Joines Mitchell. She was a retired Teacher in the Camp Lejeune Schools. Ms. Mitchell was a member of Wilkesboro Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister Peggy Mitchell of Wilkesboro, special niece; Elizabeth Puckett, two nephews; Dee Mitchell and Charles Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solo's at Wilkesboro Baptist Church, PO Box 61, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
