OTTUMWA – Craig A. Fox, 47, of 1021 E. Second St., died at 4:52 p.m. Sept. 13, 1995, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Spirit Lake to Harold “Hod” and Patricia Peterson Fox. He married Dorothy Jessop on Dec. 6, 1970.
He was a resident of Ottumwa since 1968, and had been an employee of Ottumwa Sanitation for 20 years. He had also been an employee of City Cab Co.
He is survived by his wife; a stepdaughter, Tina Brown of Ottumwa; six stepsons, Gary Terrell, Leroy and Danny Jessop and Ray Gruwell of Ottumwa, Dale Jessop of Burlington and Jim Jessop of Floris; 19 stepgrandchildren; a brother, Gary Fox of Leavenworth, Kan.; and a sister, Barbara Fox of Spirit Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Fox.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Don B. Twiford of First Pentecostal Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Gary Terrell, Ray Gruwell, Jeremy Brown, Frank Hartley and Leroy, Eddie and Jimmy Jessop.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association in care of Patricia Schmidt, 1818 Richmond Ave., Ottumwa.
