Mrs. Allen Swope, aged 58 years, died early this morning at her home in Kelso, Somerset County. Her maiden name was Osa Ellen Simpson. The deceased had been ill for a long time of diabetes, which caused her death. She is survived by her husband and a son, the latter being Chester Swope, of Beaverdale. Funeral services for Mrs. Swope will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Theodore Buch, of Zion Lutheran Church, at the Viering Funeral Home, 526 Franklin Street, Kernville, with interment in Sandyvale Cemetery.
