Barbara L. Pitts (Neill)
July 1st, 1931
August 5th, 2015

Barbara was born in Ely Nevada to William & Erma Neill. She was a graduate of White Pine High School. Barbara married her sweetheart, James (Ted) Pitts. They moved to Sparks, NV in 1956 with their daughter Tina and later had their second daughter, Kellie.

As soulmates, Ted and Barbara were married for sixty-four years. They enjoyed riding motorcycles, dancing with friends, camping with their daughters, and spent their summers in Graeagle, CA with friends and family. Her love for him was over-flowing and his for her was sweet and playful. His precious "Barb" will be desperately missed.

"Mom & Granny" were her most special nicknames. Her truest passion was her family especially her daughters and grandchildren whom she treasured. She will be remembered as always "being there" for each and every one of them with a smile, open arms and pancakes.

"Bobbi" as some called her, was an adored daughter, cherished sister, caring aunt and dearest friend. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and care giver. She was actively involved in her church, SCF where she had several close friends and exemplified a true Christian as she always put others before herself. She was said to be an "angel on earth". No words can express what an incredible woman she was and how she will forever remain in our hearts…

Barbara is survived by her husband- James Pitts; daughter-Tina Callahan (John); three grandchildren- Kelsi Callahan (Mike Glover), J.C. Callahan (Shauntaye), Jasmine McMain (Marshall); eight great-grandchildren; brother- Mitch Neill (Becki) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was joyfully reunited in heaven with her parents, brother- Don, and daughter- Kellie.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Sparks Christian Fellowship on Thursday, August, 20th at 2:00pm. In honor of Mrs. Pitts and in-lieu of flowers: donations can be made to SCF at 510 Greenbrae Dr., Sparks, NV 89431 or www.scf.net
