OSSEO — Debra Lynn Peterson-Middleton, “Deb Pete,” 58, of Osseo, WI, died Monday, August 10, 2015, at her home.
Deb was born June 21, 1957, in Eau Claire, WI, to Arthur “Red” and Marion (Gran) Peterson in Eau Claire. She graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School in 1975.
Deb married Paul Middleton on July 25, 1998, in Osseo. They were married for 14 years and remained friends always.
Deb was employed by the Osseo-Fairchild School District as a special needs teacher’s aide for 30 years and at the Osseo Golf Club for over 25 years.
Deb loved to travel and made five trips to Germany, to visit her brother Ron, and trips to England to visit friends. She enjoyed making all types of crafts and painting pictures.
Deb is survived by her loving sister, Darlene (Ivar) Garborg of Eau Claire; brothers, Ronald (Denny) Peterson of Neu-Isenburg, Germany, Dally (Debbie) Peterson of Fairchild, WI, and Steve (Roxane) Peterson of Augusta, WI; her friend and companion, Paul Middleton; brother-in-law, Gary Johnson of Brooklyn Center, MN; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving dog Rex.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marion, and a sister, Sandra Johnson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Hoy officiating. Burial will be in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
