John Ran Away from home at 16 aboard a sailing ship bound for Baltimore never to write or return to see his Family . In his old age living with his Daughter Hannah he would sit in his chair with tears in his eyes. his Grandson Hannibal asked His Mother why he was sad she told him it was because he had Grieved his Parents and it was too late to make amends. shared By Jim V.
