Debra Jean Flynn died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Lansdowne, Virginia. She was 57 years old. Debbie is survived by her grandson, Zachary Flynn who resided with her in Purcellville, Va., her daughter Cheryl Flynn of Manassas, Va, her sisters Evelyn Spencer of Purcellville and Shirley Bocock of Ohio and brother Marty Flynn of Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents John and and Eva Flynn, sister Betty Lou Price, brothers Richard (Dick) Flynn, Harry (Bubby) Flynn and John (Butch) Flynn. Debbie grew up in Herndon, Virginia and attended Herndon High School. She worked as a home care provider taking care of an elderly man. Debbie found this job exceptionally rewarding as she had a gift for taking care of others. Debbie's pride and joy was her grandson Zachary, who she was raising. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Purcellville Baptist Church, 601 Yaxley Dr. Purcellville, VA 20132.
