Jimmy “Jim Bob” L. Hodges, 64, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was born on October 8, 1950 in Booneville, Arkansas to James “J.T.” and Helen (Nichols) Hodges.

He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Sparks Hospital where he had worked in maintenance.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother James and was of the Christian faith. Jim Bob loved fishing, cribbage, dominos and gardening but most of all loved his family.

Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Gilliam Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Susan of the home, two daughters, Angela Thompson and her husband Brian of Keota, OK and Stephanie Pridie of Omaha, NE; one son, Jerry Dwayne Gandy and his wife Amanda of Johnston, RI; one sister, Janet Laxton of Greenwood, AR; a sister in law, Sue Hodges of Greenwood, AR; three grandsons, Bradley Thompson, Brett Pridie and Everett Gandy and several special nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers are Quint Hodges, Brian Thompson, Albert Wilson, David Hodges, Keith Laster, Dustin Parvin and Terry Nichols. Honorary Pallbearers are Jody and Kelton Bonds.
