Sharon was born Oct. 24, 1941 in Honey Grove to Thomas Jefferson Denson and Nannie Christeen Campbell Denson. She graduated from Honey Grove High School in 1960 and also graduated from Henderson County Junior College. Sharon proudly served in the U.S. Navy Waves during the Cuban Crises and Vietnam Conflict.
She was member, from birth, at First Baptist Church in Honey Grove. Later in life, she was a proud member of Springlake Baptist Church in Paris.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Jane Wright; and a brother, Jerry Thomas Denson.
Survivors include her two sons; five grandchildren; one nephew; one niece; one great niece; one great nephew.
