Ms. Jamie Carol Chandler of Milton, Kentucky entered this life on June 16, 1967 in Carrollton, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of James R. and Carol Avelar Chandler both of whom preceded her in death. Jamie was a lifelong resident of Trimble County, Kentucky where she was a 1985 graduate of Trimble County High School. She had worked in the Environmental Services department of Hanover College for 15 years. Jamie enjoyed cooking, taking care of her animals and spending time with her niece Devon and great niece Layla. She was a member of the Milton Baptist Church. Jamie died on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jamie will be missed by her loving brother, Jeff Chandler of Madison, Indiana; her niece, Devon Chandler of Milton, Kentucky; her great niece, Layla Kelley of Milton, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Chandler and her mother, Carol Avelar Chandler.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Aaron Snelling at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery near Milton, Kentucky.
