Emma Elsie "Peggy" Hoffman-Grumbeck Age 94 of Traverse City, went home to be with her savior on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on August 26 1920 in Beaver Township of Bay County to the late Edgar and Augusta (Ott) Loehne.

Peggy enjoyed working and spending time with her family. She was the proud owner of a women's specialty clothing shop in Dearborn called "Tow Bari." She also assisted operating a funeral home in Detroit with her husband, Edward Hoffman. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, listening to music and decorating. In their Florida home they enjoyed watching the many boats arriving and departing from the ocean. Peggy will fondly be remembered as an elegant and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her children, Randall L. Potzger, of Traverse City and Paula (Paul) Stabnau, of Lake Ann; grandson, David (Michelle) Stabnau; great-grandchildren, Michaelangelo and Raymond Stabnau; sisters, Elaine (Fred) Dore and Dorothy Schwab and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Martin Potzger whom she married on Aug. 18, 1940, Edward Hoffman, whom she married on Oct. 23, 1970 in Dearborn and John Grumbeck whom she married on Nov. 25, 2000 in Stuart, Florida; a sister, Clara Taglauer and brothers, Louis and Orlie "Spike" Loehne.
