Mary died in the Toronto Free Hospital for Consumption, York Township, York County (Weston ON) of "Phthsis Pulmonalis". The death registration has "Michael" (no surname) as her father's name, but that was her husband's given name

While the family lived in Stratford ON in 1911, Michael was enumerated in Saskatoon SK in 1921 with a new wife Margaret (Marguerite). The children were with their paternal grandmother Mary Birmingham in Wellesley Township in 1921. Both children applied for "Delayed statements of birth" in the 1970s.
