Lois I. Stevens, 75, of Timbercrest Drive, passed from this life at 5 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, at her home.
For 20 years, Mrs. Stevens was a custodian for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, serving the majority of her time at Fodrea Elementary School.
She was a member of Walker Chapel and she enjoyed listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and traveling.
Born in Columbus, May 2, 1940, Mrs. Stevens was the daughter of Feryl F. and Dorothy H. Hearne Moore. She married Frank D. Stevens July 12, 1960. He preceded her in death September 26, 2002.
Survivors include children, Franklin Stevens of Columbus, Brian (Rachael) Stevens of Columbus, Roberta (Ken) Wentworth of Hope, Sonya Stevens of Columbus, and Patricia (Reis) Brownfield of Columbus; grandchildren, Naomi and Titan Daum, Andrew Osterman, Alana (Jeremy) Sevier, Billy and Kenny Wentworth, Brayton and Brooke Brownfield, and Lindsay, Alexia, Elizabeth, and Cameron Stevens; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Francis (Betty) Moore of Hope and Richard Moore of Columbus.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and two brothers.
