Lawrence E. Anderson
Greenleaf-Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Uniting Church here for Lawrence E. Anderson, 86, Greenleaf, who died Monday, Dec. 10, at a Linn nursing home.
Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer.
He was born Oct. 11, 1898, south of Greenleaf, the son of Emanuel and Sarah Land Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the Uniting Church at Greenleaf.
He was married to Carolyn Adams Sept. 12, 1918. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Scott, Newton; three sons, Eugene Anderson, Riverside, Calif., Wallace Anderson, Enid, Okla., and Russel Anderson, Ventura, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Hildegarde Schwerdtseger, Greenleaf; two brothers, Seth Anderson, Marysville, and David Anderson, Peoria, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery. Mr. Anderson will lie in state from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday at Ward Funeral Home in Greenleaf.
