Funeral services for Dana M. Thompson, age 87, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Pastor Mike Nelson officiating.
Mr. Thompson passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 in Jacksonville.
He was born January 2, 1928 in Troup to Grace Chiles and Felix Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sam Courtney Thompson; sister, Mildred Jordan and Eula Mae Stewart.
Survivors include his sisters, Ruth Jay and Ruby Dudley, both of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin one hour before services from 9 to 10 in the morning Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville.
