Darrell W. Hayes, 49, of Terre Haute died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 1999, in Union Hospital. He was a warehouse worker for Lee Co. He was born Sept. 21, 1949, in Greencastle.(First wife,Vickie preceeded him in death. Vickie died of cancer 2-15-83, at the age of 27. She was the mother of Marc, Kimberly, and William.) His parents were William Horace Hayes and Artie Jeanette Ford Hayes Long. Survivors include his wife, Laura Fields Hayes; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Marc Hayes, Ryan Hayes and William Hayes and his wife Naomi; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly McMillen and her husband Fred; his parents; one sister, Judy Hayes; one nephew, Scott Hayes; two grandchildren, Courtney Hayes and Victoria McMillen; and stepmother, Norma Hayes. Services are 11 a.m. today in Roselawn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Manbeck officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.
