DALHART - Ruth Zielke, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Texline Cemetery at Texline with Billy Rammage, pastor of First Baptist Church in Clayton, N.M., officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home Inc.
Mrs. Zielke was born in Monette, Ark. She attended school in Texline. She worked at the round house, switching trains. Later she worked at the drive-in theater and then the Nursanickel Motel.
She married Elias Zielke in 1953 at Clayton. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dutcher.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Zielke of Whitesboro and Tim Zielke of Dalhart; a daughter, Peggy Irene Miller of Usage Beach, Mo.; a stepson, Larry Zielke of Balko, Okla.; three stepdaughters, Rossie Zugg of Odessa, Alive McEvers of Dalhart and Joan Lackey of Visalia, Calif.; a sister, Willie Lee Clawson of Spearman; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
