William R. Bauer, died Friday, Feb 12 at Weld County General Hospital. Born in Lushton, NE, to Daniel & Lena (Herbster) Bauer, he later moved to Loveland with his parents.
He married Katharyn Rusch, July 19, 1935, at Greeley. She died June 15, 1974. William farmed in the Eaton, La Salle & Platteville area until retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor and a past president of the Gilcrest-Platteville Farm Bureau.
He is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters; 4 brothers, Albert, Edwin, Sam and Danny; 8 sisters, Ruth, Leona, Lydia, Martha, Lorraine, Loise, Edna and Flo; and 7 grandchildren,
