Isabel "Chita" Monsibais was born on June 9, 1933 in Sanger, California along with her four sisters, Aurora, Josie, Mary Helen and Rosie. Later they moved to Bandini, Ca.,where she went to school and finished the tenth grade. Then the family moved to Sanger where her parents Primo & Delores Sanches who owned a bakery and restaurant(El Charro).
Throught the years she moved to Bakersfield in 1955 where met her husband, Jacob(Chickie)Monsibais, and had six children. In 1965 she was diagosed with cancer. Suffering in pain she went looking for help. Her sister-in-law Sis. Rosie Sanchez invited her to a Tent Revival in Deleno, Ca.. There the Lord healed her. She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She loved the Lord and won many souls for Christ.
She was preceeded in death by her husband
Jacob Monsibais in 1990, son Ruben Monsibais in 1993, daughter Hope Monsibais in 1995. Isabel Monsibais was a Holy woman, a Godly Saint, someone who followed in the footsteps of the Lord. We will miss her greatly.
