At the time of her death Mrs Snow was 72 years and two days old, and for the past six years has been an invalid from the effects of rheumatism, her last illness lasting about three weeks, the immediate cause of death being pneumonia. To her marriage with Mr Snow there were no children, the only child being a son by her first husband who resides at Mt Vernon WA, and who was unable to reach Terry for the funeral service.
When Terry's first postoffice was established, Mrs Snow was appointed postmistress, a position which she held for several years. In every phase of pioneer life Mrs Snow was one of the leaders of this section, and the old-timers still living only speak in the very highest terms of her many excellent qualities.
Funeral services were held at the Community church Monday afternoon by Rev W C Ross, after which the body, followed by many old friends and acquaintances, with the surviving relatives, were laid beside those of her husband in Terry cemetery.
Although Mrs Snow had no children at the funeral, there were a sister, a number of nieces and nephews and a large number of grandnieces and nephews, all of whom have the deepest sympathy of all the people of this community.
