Aaron Colt Mitchell, 17, 1465 Lindsay Lot Road, Shippensburg, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in the Chambersburg Hospital's Emergency Room.
Born August 28, 1990 in Carlisle, Cumberland County; he was a son of Scott A. and Selinda L. "Cindy" Weaver Mitchell.
Aaron was a senior with the class of 2008 at Shippensburg Senior High School, was an honor student, and a member of their golf team. Aaron played for many of the Shippensburg Little League teams and was associated with the Shippensburg Fish & Game Association's Archery League. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was employed at The Links of Olde Scotland in Shippensburg.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Ashley R. Mitchell, Washington D.C. and Amber L. Mitchell, Shippensburg, paternal grandmother, Bonnie L. Armstrong, Shippensburg, maternal grandparents, Robert E. and Connie L. Weaver, Shippensburg, a girlfriend, Taylor Smith, Chambersburg, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a special grandfather, Alex L. "Sonny" Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2008 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 2 P.M. Officiating will be The Rev. Daniel E. Cluck. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. The viewing will be Saturday from 2-8 P.M. in the funeral home. The family will be present from 6-8 P.M.
