Donna Sue "Susie" Powers
Donna Sue (Susie) Powers, age 54, of Abilene, former Sweetwater resident passed away, Friday, March 13, 2015, in Abilene.
Her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donald Hunt and Pastor Jack Pinkerton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Donna was born on Feb. 4, 1961 in Littlefield, Texas to Buren and Ivaneta (Love) Lansford. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Powers and Ronny Powers, both of Abilene; daughter-in-law, Jacei Powers of Abilene; two granddaughters, Lylli and Raeleigh Powers; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Yolanda Lansford of Sweetwater; numerous nieces and nephews, and partners in crime, Thelma Goswick, Marla Rose Andrews, Kaye Crippen and Jeanie Argumaniz Hampton; and her special mom-at-heart, Minnie Rose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buren and Ivaneta Lansford; and one sister, Lanetta Beckwith.
