Danny Guy Bennett, 68, of Craigsville, West Virginia, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in the Summersville Regional Medical Center. Born December 7, l943 at Hinton, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Jesse A. and Bessie V. Furrow Bennett.
He was a retired machinist from Ford Motor Company and was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-six years, Dorothy Vandevender Bennett; three stepchildren, Patsy and her husband, Steve Bond and Karen and her husband, Joel Hammons, all of Craigsville, and Roger and his wife, Sheila Logar of Valley Head; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes the body will be cremated and there will be no services at this time. White Funeral Home at Craigsville is in charge of the arrangements.
