Lincoln Small Dead
Father of Mrs. Ed. Bird and Mrs. Farnsworth Died at Winfield.
Lincoln Small, 87 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Farnsworth, at 1009 South Manning street in Winfield about 12:00 a.m. today. The deceased was the father of Mrs. Ed Bird of Wichita, who until quite recently was a resident of Arkansas City.
Arrangements have been made to have the funeral in the Episcopal church at Winfield Wednesday morning, starting at ten o'clock. Rev. Snowden of that church will conduct the services. Interment will be made in Mercer cemetery.
The deceased was well known in Cowley County and his death will be mourned by a large circle of friends.
