Joseph Weller, who died Friday morning at 8 o'clock at the home of his son Miles Weller south of Garrett, was eighty-four years old and had been confined to the house for eighteen weeks.
After his marriage in 1853 to Miss Caroline Johnson of Champaign county, Ohio, they moved to this county in 1860. Mrs. Weller died last June. A sister of Mr. Weller was buried Friday at Springfield, Ohio.
Two children, Miles Weller of south of Garrett and Mrs. James Hogue of LaOtto, survive Mr. Weller.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Cedar Chapel and the interment was in the adjacent cemetery.
