She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She died fleeing the Mobs, who were trying to destroy the homes of the Saints. She so wanted to make the trip to Utah with the Saints but passed away on the trail. She was married to Lewis Robbins they had two children Sariah Eliza Robbins and Lewis Galloway Robbins. They all made it to Utah.
