Howard Werts, aged probably 45 years, a prominent and well know resident of Franklin township, died of typhoid fever at his farm home, last Wednesday. Mrs. Werts was a man of upright walk in lie, and he enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him. He is survived by a wife, one son and one daughter, who have the sympathy of their many friends in their affliction. Rev. Parker will conduct the funeral exercises over the remains, at St. Paul church, this afternoon, and interment will be made in the church burial ground.
