He 1st married Kay Frances BRITTAIN of Shelby, Cleveland County, NC on June 1960 in Brevard County, FL. They divorced Dec 1969 in Volusia County, FL. She next married Richard Jessie FIFIELD and lives in Camdenton, MO and Ft. Myers, FL.
Rufus 2nd married Mrs. Myrtle Elaine FRANCIS Sampson of Mercer County, WV Abt. October 1970.
Rufus was a carpenter by trade. He was only 63 years old at his passing.
Uncle Rufus was a very nice fellow: generous and thoughtful. I always enjoyed his company and he is greatly missed.
