Mrs. Thomas was a resident of Morganton, GA. She was the daughter of the late William Howard Ballew and the late Tennie Nichols Ballew. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Mineral Bluff Baptist Church, where she served as the church pianist, and sang. Sheila was a member of the Morganton Chapter 394 Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Thomas owned and operated her own beauty shop and also taught cosmetology.
Her children are William (Bill) Lenton Thomas, Deleta Lavon Thomas Lingerfelt and Scott Alan Thomas.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, on Monday, August 10, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at 2:00 pm, at the Mineral Bluff Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.
