Charles Kinion "Kenneth" Walden was born to Lewis Jefferson and Margaret Debusk "Maggie" Walden.

He was one of ten children.

He married Hildagard Amelia "Hilda" Sunderbruch in Clinton, Iowa on December 6, 1916.

His WWI registration card shows a date of June 5, 1917 and listed his place of employment as Zimmerman Steel Company in Betterdorf, Iowa.

He married Hilda Amelia Sunderbruch (1889-1952) on December 5, 1916 in Clinton, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace L.C. Matthews.

He lived in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa per 1920 census that listed him as a iron worker and his wife, Hilda, as a music teacher.

He was listed in the 1918, 1921, and 1922 Davenport, Iowa city directories.

He died of a heart attack on December 23, 1930 while working as a self-employed ice merchant in West Bloomfield, Oakland County, Michigan.
