I visited this cemetery on 7/10/15 and only few stones remain but I found a list online and then received a copy of Tombstone Inscriptions Warren County, Illinois Hale Township Pleasant Green Cemetery from Warren County, Illinois Genealogical society from D.Webb. I have added everyone from that list with the info contained in that document. If there isn't a stone attached to the memorial then there wasn't one still standing.

Visited and further explored cemetery on 12/11/15 with my sister and we found more stones now that the grass was dead and trees almost empty so now adding more pix online

WCGS cemetery listing has Hopkins, ? died ? 12, 1882, age 71 y 6m 27 d (partial stone). I didn't find the stone and 7/6/19 I believe that this is John's wife Dorothy. I am changing dates to match online records with help of member Lilbuddy#47845606.

7/3/2019 member Lilbuddy #47845606 contacted me with following info:

" I really believe the spouse of John Hopkins (his third wife) buried here -- is -- Dorothy Proctor Choate.

Reasoning: Utilizing the family Choate edition:
daughter of David and Rhoda (Marston) Choate Sawyer
born April 17, 1812 in Enfield, New Hampshire
She married, Aug 3, 1848, John Hopkins, son of Thomas and Sarah (Erwin) Hopkins.
Mrs. Hopkins died in Monmouth, Illinois.
When you count the days between birth and burial, one comes up with 81 years, 8 months, and 27 days. The WCGS cemetery site indicates 71 years, 6 months, 27 days, I think the number 7 and 8 could be entered incorrectly."
